Position Description:

Operations Officer reporting to Chief Operations Officer.  Responsible for management and direction of bank operations, serving as the Compliance Officer in monitoring and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations, administering the bank’s security program; and upholding the Bank Protection Act and Bank Secrecy Act which requires training employees, serving as liaison with all regulatory agencies, conducting investigations, and evaluating security systems and equipment.  Supervises two employees, manages the day to day operations of the bank, and performs human resource functions such as hiring, training, motivating, rewarding, disciplining, and reviewing performance of staff.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience), with prior banking experience required (preferably a minimum of ten years).  Must have banking compliance background, preferably within a community bank.  Must be computer literate with the ability to effectively utilize Microsoft applications.  The successful candidate must consent to a background check yielding favorable results.
