Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 10 - 15 years of progressively more responsible commercial lending and administration experience, and a technical level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a masters level program in business administration, finance, or related area. Must have a high level of analytical skills to conduct commercial loan analyses and to monitor the loan’s progress in consideration of market trends, credit/interest rates, economic conditions and other factors.

Position Description:
Responsible for the organization’s entire commercial loan portfolio. Monitors and administers all commercial lending activities for affiliates and ensures that applicable bank lending policies and practices are followed. Supervises the account administration, credit extension and business development functions and establishes commercial lending policies and operating procedures that are consistent with bank policies and operations objectives. Monitors and administers the activities of loan officers who develop commercial loans for bank customers.Develops and manages large and/or major commercial loan accounts. Gathers and evaluates financial and related data to establish credit worthiness, negotiates credit terms and monitors financial condition of credit repayment progress. Reviews commercial loans developed by loan officers for compliance with lending objectives, policies, and procedures. Also approves or rejects loans exceeding the credit authority of the loan officer handling the account. Establishes interest rate guidelines, fees and other charges that are in accordance with corporate policies, to ensure they are competitive and potentially profitable for the corporation.
