Pay Range: $140,000-$150,000

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a BBA in Finance or Accounting and CPA certification as well as substantial experience in accounting and financial analysis of financial statements. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills and comprehensive analytical skills demonstrating thorough knowledge of appropriate Microsoft tools. This position requires the ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously and within tight and immediate deadlines.

Candidates must also comply with all requirements, policies and procedures of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and attend all mandatory BSA training as needed for this position. Additionally, must complete all required compliance and regulatory training, not limited to BSA.  Candidates must maintain thorough understanding of corporate structure, bank operations and related EDP and accounting systems.

Position Description:
The Chief Accounting Officer performs various financial analyses under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer and may assist other senior officers of the company as well.  Will oversee certain aspects of accounting department, including supervision of staff.

This position also prepares various supporting documentation and analyses for external financial reporting and related purposes, review current or newly issued accounting pronouncements and determine the impact on corporation policies, procedures, and disclosures; and prepares presentation materials used for analysts’ meetings and similar functions.

The Chief Accounting Officer also assists accounting department during peak periods or during staff shortages and provides analytical support to executive management on an as-needed basis.
