  Interview Tip

Source: The Pocket Idiot's Guide to Interview Questions and Answers

If an interviewer asks you to describe your favorite job, be sure to tie in your experience with what they are looking for -- Even if it wasn't in the same field, you no doubt learned something that can be brought to your potential employer's company, right?

Show how your skiills are transferable from industry to industry, firm to firm.

Explain why you liked that job, because it used your education, skills and experience -- And elaborate a little on what those are, giving examples. Be sure to explain why the new job is an even better fit for your skills.

For example, if you are applying for an entry level sales position, and you are a recent college graduate, and your favorite job was the summer job you had at Sea world selling tyickets ... You might want to emphasize the customer service and how you enjoyed meeting new people.
