Labor Market Surveys

We are actively working on several compensation projects for small and medium organizations. Our objective in completing these projects is to enhance and ensure our clients' ability to attract and retain the quality employees they require to achieve their business goals.

Compensation Project services include:

  • Writing Position Descriptions

We write customized position descriptions that are ADA compliant, including the necessary required and desirable skills.

  • Surveying Local Employers

We customize our surveys and provide data specific to your position and organization. We use published labor market surveys, individual salaries, and Bureau of Labor Statistics data among others.

  • Developing Pay Grade Structures

We develop pay structures that reflect both internal equity and external competitiveness. These structures include a minimum rate, a competitive labor market rate, and a maximum rate of pay.

  • Providing Compensation philosophy and strategy

We provide a tailored and formal compensation philosophy and strategy based on your needs and requirements customized to your organization.

We have successfuly completed Compensation Studies for companies and organizations including Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO), Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), Pension Trend, Southfield Public Schools, Christian Schools International, and Michigan Certified and Development Corporation (MCDC). We also are working on two surveys for Chief Executive Officer positions in a small and large organization.
